You’re invited: celebrate 50 years of Mt Druitt Community Health Centre

This special community day is hosted by Integrated and Community Health (ICH), part of the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD),  to celebrate five decades of care, connection, and commitment to our local community.

It will be a fun, free day for everyone, with: 

• Health and wellbeing stalls hosted by services from ICH and across WSLHD
• BBQ, coffee cart, ice cream van, and fresh fruit stand
• Goodie bags, raffle prizes, and more!

Western Sydney Diabetes will be there offering: 

• A free HbA1c blood test – this checks your average blood sugar over the last 3 months 
• No fasting needed – just drop in 
• Health information and tips to take home 

You might benefit from the test if you: 

• Have diabetes in your family 
• Don’t move much or sit a lot 
• Are above a healthy weight 
• Had diabetes during pregnancy 
• Are from a Pacific Island, Indian, Asian, African, Aboriginal, or Torres Strait Islander background 

This is a great chance to check your health and find out if you may be at risk of type 2 diabetes. 

Can’t make it?
You can ask your GP to check your risk. They may recommend the same blood test.
