Check Your Health with a SiSU Station
July 03, 2025
SiSU Health Stations are free, simple machines you can use to check your health. They’re a great way to stay on track with your 2kg Challenge.
Each station offers the AUSDRISK quiz, which gives you a score that shows your chance of developing type 2 diabetes in the next five years. This score can help you understand your risk early, so you can take small steps now to prevent problems later. The good news is that type 2 diabetes is often preventable or manageable if it’s picked up early.
The station also checks things like blood pressure, weight, BMI, and heart rate. It only takes a few minutes, and you don’t need an appointment.
Where to find them:
SiSU Stations are at Blacktown Workers Club, Workers Sports, some Priceline pharmacies, some Bunnings stores, and select GPs. To find your closest SiSU Health Station, click here.

The best way to know your risk is through a finger-prick blood test measuring average blood sugar, (called HbA1c). If you haven’t had this test recently, now’s a great time to ask your GP. Your doctor can talk through your results and help you take the next step. Click here to find a GP near you.
Knowing where you’re at now can help you stay well in the future. You’ve already taken a great step by joining the 2kg Challenge, keep going strong!
