Over 1,000 Strong and Still Growing

We’re excited to share that over 1,000 people have now joined the 2kg Challenge!
Thank you to everyone who has signed up, shared the program, and supported others to take part. More and more people across Western Sydney are taking small, positive steps to improve their health.
Many people are hearing about the program through their GP, or after having a blood test at Blacktown or Mt Druitt Hospital that shows they may be at risk of prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. We thank GPs and health services for supporting people to take early action.
Here is what one GP has said about the program:

The 2kg Challenge is based on a simple idea: small changes can make a big difference. Losing just 2kg can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by around 30%.
